Join 11 other Service Writers in this 4 hour, interactive and educational training program focusing on Modern Braking Systems. This workshop uses instructional steps to best understand proper communications of the work flow between the vehicle owner, you the service writer, the technician, and then back to you, enhancing your knowledge and ability to communicate the value of the suggested repair to the vehicle owner, helping them make a buying decision.

This workshop, in conjunction with the role-play interaction exercises, will strengthen and reinforce your knowledge, again to properly communicate the value of the suggested repair to the vehicle owner.
After completing this workshop, the student will have the knowledge to:
• Identify changes in design, operation and demands of the modern brake system.
• Differentiate between varying types of brake friction and their applications.
• Understand composition and service of brake rotors, friction material and brake fluid.
• Professionally communicate necessary corrective actions for a vehicle’s braking system, helping the customer make a buying decision.
